Create your own sing-along videos

Lyric Video Creator is a free-to-use multimedia software from Basi-karaoke.com that allows you to create karaoke presentations so that you can sing along to all your favorite songs. This program helps you sync the background music with the lyrics you input so that they scroll down as you go through the song.

It’s important to keep in mind that Lyric Video Creator isn’t a sing-along software like Karaoke 5. It doesn’t have a database to search lyrics for your chosen songs like in MiniLyrics, either, so you’ll need to manually search for these yourself.

How does it work?

As already stated, Lyric Video Creator requires you to look up the lyrics for any song you want to make a video for from a third-party source and paste them onto the clipboard. You will also need to provide your own audio files for the backing track. Take note, though, that the program only supports MP3 and MP4 files for import.

Once you’ve uploaded both of these, you can also choose your own background for your video. The program already has a few ready-to-use options for you to choose from, however, you can also choose your own images or videos, as well. Afterward, you can then begin syncing the lyrics to your chosen song by pausing and playing the audio and adjusting the lyrics on the right side as needed.

In addition to the previously mentioned features, users have the option to adjust the video’s quality up to 1024p and adjust the FPS, as well. You can also change the font style from the same settings window and choose how you want to highlight the lyrics. There’s even an option to add a progress bar to help singers figure out when to begin singing the next part of a song. 

Very basic but good at what it does

While Lyric Video Creator doesn’t offer too many resources to help you find the lyrics to a song nor does it have its own library of audio, it’s still a decent choice when it comes to creating a video that you can use as a reference for your karaoke nights. It’s simple enough to use and you can customize the video in a number of ways, as well.
